About the Clare Valley

The Clare Valley is renowned for its picturesque beauty and wonderful combination of prime pastures and premium vineyards. It’s also home to a rapidly growing range of gourmet produce making the most of these local riches.

These gentle hills nurture the ingredients for locally produced olive oil, free range chickens and eggs, premium lamb and carob. Clare Valley grain travels almost no distance at all before it is used to create silky organic flour and pasta. Any or all of these will pair beautifully with the Valley’s distinctive wines for a memorable meal or three.

The very best of Clare Valley’s local produce can be found throughout the region at tourism outlets, cellar doors and the local markets. They are in demand around the world, so why not taste the best while you are right there? The Clare Valley is where you can satisfy your gourmet cravings with some old-fashioned country hospitality.
