Winner winner, Eat Local for dinner!

June 21, 2021

We think it’s about time for some winter treats, don’t you?

Dinner during the dreary days of COVID-19 last year got a whole lot better when Paul Baker (the award-winning chef who put the Botanic Garden Restaurant on the national dining map) decided to start making and delivering beautiful meals ready to heat and eat through a new enterprise – Chefs on Wheels.

Word soon spread and, fast forward 12 months, Chefs on Wheels now offers restaurant quality meals prepared by some of Australia’s best chefs delivered to diners’ doors in Adelaide metro and regional areas and into Victoria.

With options including family-friendly dishes, Indian, Thai and Italian favourites, snacks and desserts, and even vego gift boxes, it’s a diner’s dream come true.

Which is where Eat Local SA comes in.

What better way to beat the winter blues than having a whole week’s worth of delicious chef-made meals delivered to your door by these talented chefs as a special treat from us to you? We have three $250 vouchers to give away so you can step away from the stove and dine in with flair for a whole wintry week.

It’s simple to enter – just jump over to our Facebook or our Instagram page and comment on our Winner Winner, Eat Local for Dinner post to tell us what your absolute favourite South Australian-made or grown winter ingredient is and how you like to use it. Remember to name the South Australian brand or producer in your comment.

We will announce our three winners on 7 July, and if that’s you, you’ll receive a voucher to choose whatever you like from the Chefs on Wheels menu to the value of $250.
